Kate Middleton Slips in Wedges But Avoids Disaster During New Zealand Winery Tour (VIDEO)
Kate Middleton narrowly avoided disaster while touring a New Zealand vineyard with Prince William on Sunday.

The Duchess of Cambridge was wearing her trademark 4-inch Stuart Weitzman wedges while visiting the Otago Wines Amisfield Vineyard in Queenstown when she briefly lost her balance. Middleton, 32, quickly regained her balance with the help of her husband before they went on to enjoy wine tasting.

Sunday marked the seventh day of the royals couple's Antipodean tour. Middleton, William and baby George will soon make their way to Australia.
"She slipped and grabbed William's arm to steady herself," one eyewitness told Us magazine of Middleton's close call.
John Darby, owner of Amisfield Vineyard, personally gave the Duke and Duchess a tour of his property and reportedly offered them each a glass of 2011 Amisfield pinot noir.
"The Duchess did take a little sip, but I don't think she's a big drinker," Darby told reporters.
"We nearly moved on without the Duke or Duchess having a glass of our wine, but [William] was keen to try it. He said, 'Hang on, let's enjoy a glass of wine. We can't pass up the opportunity,'" he revealed adding "[they] both picked some grapes as we were walking through the vineyard and William in particular seemed to know about red wine -- I think that's his favorite."
Middleton expressed her delight in being able to enjoy wine following the birth of eight-month-old baby George.
She told the Amisfield's owners she is "really enjoying being able to drink again after having baby George," Us magazine reported.
The royal couple kicked off their tour of New Zealand and Australia on April 7 and they are expected to fulfill up to 48 engagements over a three-week period.
Middleton and William are believed to have obtained a passport for Prince George in September ahead of the tour.
The trip mirrors the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles' 1983 trip to Australia which marked a then nine-months-old William's first trip abroad. Prior to the trip, the Queen first had to give permission for William, now 31, to travel on the same plane as his father as royal protocol dictates an heir and the next in line must not fly together.
