Kate Upton Cat Daddy Video and Youtube Ban: Dance Video Inappropriate? (VIDEO)

Photographer Terry Richard released a recent video of Kate Upton dancing on his blog. The 30-second upload, which plays twice automatically, has many questioning the model's "A-list" status.

Terry Richard posted a video of Kate Upton Wednesday, presumably teaching others how to do the "Cat Daddy" dance, a song released by Rej3ctz. The video became so controversial that YouTube decided to pull the video from its site, although it is still available through Richard's blog.

Upton had a break out in her modeling career when she landed the front cover spot for Sports Illustrated magazine. While some suggested that the model had "hit the A-List," others still questioned her potential. Lead members in charge of running the Victoria's Secret runway shows suggested that the model was only average, her look "too obvious" and not suitable enough for the front cover of their own catalogue.

"She's like a page 3 girl," Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, the cast director for the Victoria's Secret Fashion show, told the New York Tmes. "She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy."

Upton initially reached stardom in her modeling career by posting a video of herself on YouTube doing the "Dougie" dance. The latest video, however, has been considered by some to be just plain "trashy" and only further questioned the model's A-list status.

"The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2012 cover model went from classy- attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner just this past Saturday- to a little trashy as she donned a red string bikini and bounced to Rej3ctz's 'Cat Daddy,'" E! News reported.

Users on the site were not much more supportive of the new video criticizing the song choice, dance, and even Upton's intelligence level for agreeing to do such a dance on video wearing nothing but a string bikini.

"Why do pretty young things need to pole dance in order to get attention or feel pretty? This routine was sad. What would her parents say to her, 'Honey, you make us so proud?' Class up, ladies!" Cheryl wrote on the E! News blog.

"In my opinion that is not dancing. It looks more like she has hemroids," Matt said, adding even more harsh words at the end of his comment.
