Kate Winslet Pregnant, Expecting Baby With Ned Rocknroll

Kate Winslet is reportedly expecting her first child with her new husband Ned Rocknoll, six months after the couple wed in New York.

The English actress, 37, is said to be thrilled with the baby news with sources claiming she is already sporting a baby bump. Winslet has two children, daughter Mia, 12, from her first marriage with Jim Threapleton, and son Joe, 9, with ex-husband, Sam Mendes.

"Kate and Ned have been talking about having babies since they met. Ned has always wanted kids and has been amazing with Kate's. They are very family people," an alleged friend of Winslet told The Sun UK.

"Ned is from a large family and is quite a hippy and is happy living in a commune. It was always a plan to have kids," the source added.

In December the mother-of-two married Rocknroll, who is the nephew of British tycoon Richard Branson, in a private ceremony. The couple kept the wedding a secret from their parents and Winslet was allegedly given away by her "Titanic" co-star and good friend Leonardo DiCaprio.

Prior to her third wedding, Winslet was married to Mendes, a film director, from 2003 to 2010. She was also married to Threapleton for three years before divorcing in 2001.

Winslet, who is notoriously private about her personal life, recently spoke about life after divorce in a candid interview with Harpers Bazaar U.K.

"I've really learnt a great deal about myself, in the last four years in particular," Winslet told Harpers.

"I think I can see more clearly now about how the pattern of past experiences has shaped who I am, and the characters I have played and I'm grateful for that," she explained.

In 2011 Winslet was praised by Branson for saving his 90-year old mother, Eve, from a fire that ravaged his private island residence in the British Virgin Islands. The Oscar award-winning actress was among two-dozen guests who were staying in Branson's 14-bedroom home on the exclusive resort when the fire broke out.

"My mum is 90 and can walk, but it was more just to speed the process up than anything else. But anyway, she was great. She swept her up into her arms and got them out of the house as fast as possible," Branson previously told The Telegraph about the frightening incident.

"Talking to her, she said it's like being in a film set where you're waiting for the words 'cut' but they just don't come. So it was quite surreal for her to be in a real-life situation."
