Katy Perry and John Mayer News: Singer Debuts Gold Engagement Ring During Valentine's Day Dinner?
Katy Perry fueled engagement rumors on Friday by wearing a ring on her wedding finger during a dinner date with John Mayer.
The Hollywood couple, who have dated on-and-off for more than one year, enjoyed a romantic evening at the exclusive Sunset Towers Hotel for Valentine's Day. Upon leaving, Perry, 27, was photographed flaunting a gold ring which raised questions about whether it is in fact an engagement ring, according to Daily Mail U.K.
"John says all the time that Katy is going to be his wife. He says she just gets him like no one else does," a source previously told Life & Style magazine.

The ring photos come three months after the "Roar" singer fueled engagement rumors at the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) after posing on the red carpet with a diamond ring on her wedding finger. It is unclear whether the ring is the same one Perry wore on Friday.
The couple began dating in August 2012 and while they briefly split up in March 2013, they reconciled in July and have been inseparable ever since.
"I actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time, and it just so happens we fit together great," Perry recently told W magazine.
In January reports claimed the "Who Do You Love" duo got engaged in Hawaii, but there has been no confirmation.
"Katy is so happy with John. She's been telling all her friends that she thinks he's going to pop the question – and she'll definitely say yes," a source said in December.
Prior to Mayer, Perry was married to British actor Russell Brand. Mayer, 36, was previously linked to various Hollywood stars including actress Jennifer Aniston and fashion mogul Jessica Simpson.
"He's dated a few famous women but he's never felt this way about anyone before. The only thing is, he wants her to calm down a bit," an insider said referring to Perry. "She's really wild and such a party girl at heart, so he's told her to be a bit more responsible."
