Kelly Clarkson News: Singer Reveals First Pictures of Son Remy

Social media has become Kelly Clarkson's bridge to the people and on Saturday, the singer finally gave fans a first and closer look at his newborn son, Remy.

Clarkson took to Twitter and wrote: "Meet Remy, our newest edition to the family! #charmfordays #watchoutladies." The post was accompanied by two black-and-white photos. One featured Clarkson kissing her son as he sleeps, while the other stars his husband, Brandon Blackstock, holding the baby protectively.

A fan pointed out that the pop country star made a typographical error on her post, to which Clarkson responded and said she had not slept for days, just like other mothers who had just given birth.

Earlier this month, Clarkson announced the arrival of her son through the same platform. "Our little boy has arrived. Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!" she wrote.

According to ABC News, the "American Idol" winner married Blackstock in 2013 and they are parents to River Rose, their 1-year-old daughter.

When she started dating Blackstock in 2012, she revealed to the public that he was stll married when they first met. However, Blackstock, who is Reba McEntire's stepson though Narvel Blackstock, was later divorced and proposed to Clarkson in December 2012.

In her interviews where she is asked about her husband, Clarkson never forgets to heap praises on Blackstock. According to E! News, the "Piece by Piece" singer has always talked about Blackstock's supportiveness and love not only for her but especially for their daughter, and now their son.

She recently shared how Blackstock showed his support through attending events meant for baby River Rose. Clarkson also said each time she sees Blackstock showering love on their daughter, she finds it both difficult and yet beautiful to watch as it makes her cry.

Clarkson rose to the peak of the music industry in 2002 when she won the first season of "American Idol." Since then, she has released award-winning and Billboard albums and singles including "A Moment Like This," "Breakaway" and 'Thankful."
