Kelly Dodd Divorce Rumors, Updates: 'RHOC' Star Says She's Excited to Start Anew After Impending Divorce
The buzz about Kelly Dodd's troubled marriage and concurrent divorce plans have since been confirmed to be true, but what does the television personality plan to do once her separation from her husband of 11-years becomes official?
The news was confirmed by Kelly herself via an interview with The Daily Mail in late September, saying, "It's just a case where two people can't get along."
Following this announcement, Kelly was reported to have sold her $6 million Corona del Mar home, even enlisting the help of real estate agent, Leo Goldschwartz, from Bravo TV's "Real Estate Wars."
Kelly plans on moving out in the coming weeks and is said to be looking for "a more suburban house" where she and her 10-year-old daughter, Jolie, can live together in peace. The reality star also mentioned that the most important criteria she's looking for in a new place is more security and is preferably behind a guard gate.
The stay-at-home mother also told ET that she intends on spending more one-on-one time with her daughter and that she is "pretty excited" about embarking on a new chapter in her life.
She also teased viewers of Bravo TV's "Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC)," to keep watching the reality television show in order to find out what has ultimately led to her decision to divorce her husband Michael Dodd, sell the house, and look forward to a much better future.
"You'll see how everything is good, and then just a hardcore left," Kelly said.
The reality star joined the cast of "RHOC" last year on the show's 11th season. And although she has been making every possible effort to work through their marital issues, things just weren't bound to work out in the end.
"I guess everyone has a final straw, I just ... it was like, just disagreements all the time," Kelly further told ET.
Fans can catch Kelly on the ongoing 12th season of "Real Housewives of Orange County," airing on Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo TV.
