She went on to name Beyonce, her sister Solange Knowles, their cousin Angie Beyince, former Destiny's child member Michelle Williams, and one of her best friends LaLa Anthony as her female soulmates.

"I have soul mates through Beyonce and Michelle and Angie and Solange and LaLa. I have soul mates," Rowland told HelloBeautiful.com "I'm so thankful for that too because I think they understand you. If there's something on my heart or my mind, before I can even pick up the phone, one of them is calling me saying, 'What are you doing? Are you ok?'"

Rowland went on to speak about the special connection present in her definition of a soul mate.

"We're connected and I think that's such a beautiful thing," she said. "It's the greatest gift you can have."

Rowland married Witherspoon last month in Costa Rica. According to various media outlets like Us Weekly, the women who she named as soul mates were present for the intimate ceremony.

"It was a quick, simple ceremony -- only around 30 people," a source reportedly told Us Weekly.

Rowland previously spoke about her wedding plans with E! News.

"I really plan on it being a very special day between me and my sweetheart," she told E! "Whatever we do we just want it to be special and between he and I and just make it something that we both remember and just for us. It's our gift to ourselves."
