Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid & Bella Hadid News: Models Featured on Chanel Runway in Futuristic-Themed Fall/Winter Collection
What better way to experience this year's Paris Fashion Week than to strut down the catwalk together in full-on Chanel gear? Well, there's standing before a fully functioning rocket that launches 30 feet into the air, which was exactly how model pals Kendall Jenner, and sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, ended a future-themed Chanel show this week.
According to Hollywood Life, Chanel truly knows how to take fashion to greater heights while remaining abreast with the latest news. It has only been weeks since the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has reported their latest exoplanet discovery, so it comes as no surprise that the space age is on everybody's mind. It even went as far as to inspire the French fashion house's Fall/Winter 2017 collection, which were showcased at The Grand Palais on March 7.
Kendall, Gigi, and Bella took the silver runway by storm in metallic separates complete with glittering details, cap-toe boots, and Chanel's classic black-and-white tweed refashioned with a futuristic twist. The show also featured out of this world hair and makeup, with both Kendall and Gigi rocking a big hairstyle inspired by the '60s.
Sam McKnight was responsible for the look he dubbed as "Chanelarella" and "sixties hair." Kendall and Gigi's volumized hairstyles were complimented by bejeweled headbands that made the overall look both gorgeous and fun.
The show concluded by launching a giant rocket ship branded with the Chanel logo, which TMZ reported to have risen to about 30 feet in the air. The show awed celebrities like Lily Rose Depp, Cara Delevingne, and Rita Ora, who were all watching from the front row.
The three model pals continued to stun the crowd in their own stylish clothes as they sashayed out of The Grand Palais following their successful show, Daily Mail reported.
Kendall, Gigi, and Bella have been tirelessly walking the catwalk in the past few weeks, gracing fashion shows in Paris, Milan, New York, and London.
