Kendall Jenner Net Worth: Supermodel Ahead of Other Sisters
Reports have it that in terms of net worth, Kendall Jenner has already gotten ahead of some of her older sisters.
Even at age 21, the international supermodel has already been in the fashion and modeling industry for almost seven years now. She had her first gigs with the Wilhelmina Models back in 2009 at age 14.
Money Nation previously claimed that Jenner has already beaten the $10 million record right before 2016 ended. According to the report, Jenner has already bagged more than $31 million as of November 2016.
Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly had their own report last January that says Jenner's net worth is already up at $36.6 million. The same report says Jenner has a sure profit of $5,000 in every episode of her family's reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
If the latest count says Jenner has already bagged $36.6 million by the start of the year, she has actually gotten ahead of her three sisters Kourtney Kardashian ($20.4 million), Khloe Kardashian ($20 million), and Kylie Jenner ($17 million). However, she still needs to do a lot more to even reach half of the reported net worth of another older sister, Kim Kardashian West ($150 million).
In 2015, Jenner was already one of the top-earning models around the world. In the said year, Forbes has declared Jenner as the 16th highest-paid supermodel with a $4 million net worth.
The list had Gisele Bundchen at no. 1 with an estimated earnings of $44 million "before taxes and expenses" as of June 2015. Bundchen's lead from the second and third top-earners is a big one as Cara Delevingne and Adriana Lima both bagged an estimated $9 million each for the said period.
As for Jenner, the 21-year-old supermodel outdid her 2015 financial records as, according to another Forbes report, she garnered $10 million in 2016. It was a 150 percent increase from what she earned in 2015, which makes her one of the biggest money gainers in 2016 compared to the previous years.
Over the years, Jenner has also starred in huge ad campaigns for major fashion brands such as Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder. Jenner has also been walking the runways of the biggest fashions shows around the world. At age 20, she had already been featured in the shows of Chanel, Alexander Wang, Vera Wang, Michael Kors, Balmain, Oscar de la Renta, and many more.
However, Jenner recently faced a debacle over her protest-themed ad for Pepsi. Fans and activists criticized the concept of the commercial, saying it waters down the struggles faced by organizers and supports of the Black Lives Matter movement from police violence. Pepsi has since apologized to the public and to Jenner while the supermodel has removed all references to the video ad from her social media accounts.
