Stony Brook finished with a 26-6 record and a big bulk of that falls in the hands of Jameel Warney who has been excellent this season. He leads the team in points and rebounds as he has 18.7 points per night while also averaging 10.2 rebounds per game.

They have won four of their last five games so far, with a three-game winning streak entering the tournament.

They beat Maine before losing to Vermont but bounced back with impressive performances against UMBC, Hartford and then eventually avenging their earlier loss to Vermont.

Stony Brook have a big task at hand as they go against Kentucky, but if they continue their impressive play, they may very well challenge the favourites in the competition and may even pull off an upset.

On the other hand, Kentucky have amassed a 26-8 record heading into March Madness.

Jamal Murray has been spectacular in the offensive end as he averages 20 points per game and also dishes out 2.2 assists, good enough to be third in the team.

Tyler Ulis scores 16.6 points per night and leads the team with 7.4 assists per game.

Much like Stony Brook, Kentucky are on an impressive run which includes wins over tough teams like Florida, LSU, Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M. They should try to start off quickly against Stony Brook and finish the game off early to continue their run in the tournament.
