'Kevin Can Wait' Season 2 Spoilers: Kevin Spies On Sara Because Of Her Rumored Secret Boyfriend

Kevin Gable (Kevin James) will do a little investigation of his own in the next episode of "Kevin Can Wait" season 2.

According to the synopsis of episode 3 titled "Kevin Goes Nuts," the newly single father will go undercover after his boss Vanessa Cellucci (Leah Remini) suggested that his youngest daughter Sara (Mary-Charles Jones) has a secret boyfriend. This means that he has to make sure that his tomboy daughter will not find out what he is really up to.

Meanwhile, Kevin's other child Jack (James DiGiacomo) will once again try to fit in by looking for a unique illness of his own after a group of kids who had peanut allergies discovered that he was just faking his allergy.

Vanessa, on the other hand, will meet up with her own friend named Vinnie (Nick Turturro) in the upcoming episode that will be aired on CBS on Monday, Oct. 9, at 9 p.m. EDT.

In another news, Remini defended the sitcom's decision to kill off Erinn Hayes' character Donna Gable in the season 2 premiere.

Fans of the sitcom expressed their disappointment on Twitter when they found out that Kevin's wife passed away a year before the events in the premiere episode of season 2.

One of the fans wrote, "Still disgusted with #kevincanwait. Season 1 was so good. I hope season 2 bombs & gets canceled. @KevinJames @LeahRemini @KevinCanWaitCBS." This earned a witty respond from Remini who said, "How do you really feel? I feel like you are sugar coating it."

Other netizens also blamed her Hayes' departure from the show, but the actress explained that she was not in the position to make that decision in the first place. She also reiterated that Hayes is currently working on another show on Amazon.

Remini also refused to answer questions about the real reason why Donna passed away since she is not the writer or the producer of the sitcom. But she admitted that it would be nice to explore the story in the coming episodes.
