Khloé Kardashian Proceeding with Divorce from Lamar Odom?
Television personality Khloé Kardashian is said to be filing for divorce - for the second time- from her husband, former NBA player Lamar Odom.
According to Us Weekly, though the estranged couple have been working some of their issues out, the divorce is "going to happen soon."
"Lamar is doing great," a source told Us. "He hasn't been drinking and is doing well. But Khloé is going to file for divorce. She wants to leave him now."
Kardashian and Odom, who previously starred in their own reality series, "Khloé and Lamar," married in 2009 just a month after they began dating. Their reality series, a spin-off of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," ran for two seasons from 2011 to 2012.
Kardashian filed for divorce and for the legal restoration of her last name in 2013, but it wasn't until July 2015 that Odom finally signed the divorce papers.
In October 2015, Odom was found unconscious at a Crystal, Nevada brothel called the Love Ranch. He was hospitalized and was in a coma for several days. According to the Los Angeles Times, the former basketball star had suffered several strokes, as well as kidney failure and other health issues.
In the aftermath of his brush with death, Kardashian and Odom decided to call off their divorce so that she could help him make medical decisions during his hospital confinement.
Now, half a year after the incident, Odom has addressed the rumors that he has once again been partying following his hospitalization and subsequent rehabilitation. At Kobe Bryant's final game at Staple Center on Wednesday, April 13, Odom spoke to Entertainment Tonight about reports that he has gone back to his old ways and that his marriage to Kardashian is officially over.
"I mean, it gets tough, especially if so much gets speculated," he said. "Only a few people know the truth, and I just keep that close to my heart."
"We did talk, you know, everything is [up for] discussion," Odom said about his estranged wife. "We talk about anything. We've been through a lot. It won't ever stop."
