Kim Kardashian Baby North West Not Allowed to Wear Pink?
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's newborn daughter, North West, is reportedly not allowed to wear pink as a new report claims the rapper has banned girly colors.
The three-month-old baby girl, whose birth made headlines around the world, was unveiled in August via a photograph released by West, 36, on the "Kris" show in which she is seen wearing black. A source claims her Grammy award-winning father made it clear that she is only allowed to wear three neutral colors.
"They do not dress North in any other colors except three: black, white or cream. No pinks allowed!" a family insider told Life & Style magazine.
Kardashian, 32, and West are currently living with the reality TV star's mother, Kris Jenner, at the matriarch's Calabasas mansion as they await the completion of renovations on the Bel Air mansion. Baby North's nursery, which was featured on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," was reportedly also subject to West's ban on all things pink.
"The colors are dark navies, blacks and whites. It's not girly at all," the source revealed. "It has a flat-screen TV. They really spared no expense when it came to North's nursery."
The newborn's wardrobe reportedly boasts lavish designer goods from leading designers including the exclusive Italian label Dolce & Gabbana.
"Fendi, Bonpoint, Lanvin, custom Giuseppe Zanotti baby shoes, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermès — she has it all!" the source said.
It appears that the "Black Skinned" rapper has the same wardrobe expectations for Kardashian that he has for baby North.
The reality star, who has dated West for over one year, admittedly changed her wardrobe at the rapper's request within months of dating him. Prior to the relationship, Kardashian's daily attire often featured bright hues however she is now often seen wearing neutral colors.
"Kanye's not afraid to say what he likes. He definitely likes the less-is-more look. Everyone wants to look good for their man, so Kim will listen and say: 'OK. I'll go with what my boyfriend says,'" Kardashian's make-up artist Rob Scheppy previously revealed to the Daily Star.
"Kanye does like to get involved with Kim's look. He actually has a lot of input, he has amazing style so we take his opinions to heart and I say: 'OK, I'll try it,'" he added.
