Kim Kardashian Getting First Tattoo for Kanye West's Birthday? 'Something Simple'
Kim Kardashian is reportedly considering getting her very first tattoo in honor of Kanye West's birthday.
The reality TV star, 33, will help celebrate her husband's June 8 birthday in coming days and a new report claims she is contemplating gifting him with a body tattoo. While West, 36, is no stranger to ink, Kardashian reportedly does not have any tattoos which would make the potential gift extra special.
"Getting a tattoo is something she said she would never do, but there has been talk about getting a symbol or some initials referring to her love for Kanye inked on her lower back or somewhere discreet," a source told Hollywood Life.
"It would be something delicate, simple," the insider added.
Kardashian is renowned for presenting West with lavish gifts on his birthday. In 2012 the E! star made headlines when she gave him a rare Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, valued at $750,000.
The couple, who wed in Italy on May 24, enjoyed their honeymoon in Ireland last week. They exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Florence before jetting off to Ireland's Castlemartyr Resort on May 25.
"Had the best most relaxing romantic honeymoon in Ireland & Prague! Missed my baby girl so much! Excited to be home to squeeze her so tight!" Kardashian tweeted upon her return to the US.
The pair celebrated the "Yeezus" rapper's birthday in Ireland a few years ago which is why they decided to spend their honeymoon there.
"We spent Kanye's bday in Ireland a few years back & fell in love with it! Its such a calming relaxing place!" Kardashian tweeted to a curious fan who had asked about their destination choice.
"Love being Mrs. West," she told another fan.
While the couple are reportedly "sad" that their wedding festivities are over, insiders say they are thrilled to begin their new lives as a married couple.
"The wedding was such an amazing experience for them, that they are sad that it is all over, and can't believe that it has happened already. So they are sad that they aren't anticipating the big day anymore," a source said.
"Don't get me wrong, they are ecstatic that they are married but just sad that all the magic of the big day is over," the source explained. "They have already spoken about plans on doing anniversary parties. Every year will be a big party to celebrate their love."
