Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Shopping for Rings Ahead of Commitment Ceremony
Kim Kardashian was recently photographed shopping in a Beverly Hills jewelry store with Kanye West, and a new report claims that the couple was looking at wedding bands.
Kardashian, who is expecting West's child, will reportedly tie the knot with the rapper in an unofficial commitment ceremony, it has been claimed. The couple allegedly arrived at Cartier on Jan. 31 and a store recently employee described the rings which most appealed to the pair, according to HollywoodLife.com.
"Kim has great taste and loves many of our pieces, such as this one, our Cartier d'Amour solitaire paved with diamonds. It's a really exquisite engagement band, and of the finest diamonds you could buy," the source told HollywoodLife.

"I showed her a few other ones from a set of different collections," the employee continued. "She was more interested in this one (the Cartier d'Amour solitaire paved with diamonds) and making some adjustments to it. Kim wants her piece to be custom, something out of the ordinary, and we're certainly happy to accommodate her."
On Jan. 14 it was claimed that Kardashian, who is still legally married to NBA star Kris Humphries, would exchange vows and wedding rings in a ceremony with West as a gesture to mark their undying love.
"Kanye is very traditional. He'd have liked to marry Kim now they are having a baby but with Kim still married to someone else, there is not much he can do," a source told The Sun U.K.
"It won't be official like a wedding because Kanye wants that to be extra special when the time comes," the source added.
The unofficial wedding will reportedly take place in Malibu followed by a lavish reception, which will take place at a private beach mansion in Malibu.
"They will still exchange rings they just won't wear them on their wedding fingers. One of Kim's friends is lending them his [$11 million] Malibu beach mansion and the entire bash will take place there," the source explained. "It'll be a lot more low-key than a wedding."
