Kim Kardashian News: Keeping Up With the Kardashians Star Buys a Lot Of Her Own Vogue Magazines From Newsstands

Kim Kardashian was recently spotted purchasing multiple April issues of Vogue magazines from newsstands where she serves as the cover girl.

Kardashian, the 33-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, appeared on the April 2014 cover of Vogue magazine with the 37-year-old rap mogul West. She and her 18-year-old younger sister Kendall Jenner were spotted in Studio City, Calif. where they recently decided to purchase a number of the issues, according to E! News reports.

While the publication shows the sisters holding a pile of magazines while busying themselves to obtain more, E! previously reported that Kardashian and West's Vogue issue is on gear to sell between 300,000 to 400,000 copies. This would make it one of the publication's highest selling issues, which falls right in line with singer Beyonce and first lady Michelle Obama.

Still, Kardashian proved she doesn't take herself too seriously when it comes to the publication.

With people like actors Seth Rogan and James Franco spoofing the infamous Vogue cover, Kardashian took to her Celeb Buzz blog to highlight some of her favorite remakes.

"Loving these cute parody pics of my Vogue cover with Kanye," she wrote earlier this month. "People are so funny and creative, I just had to share some of my favorites!"

After receiving some backlash Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, defended putting Kardashian on the cover.

"There's barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven't been able to master, and for good reason," Wintour wrote in the April Vogue editor's letter. "Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world's spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that."
