Kim Kardashian Paying for Kanye West Wedding? 'Spending Upwards of $200,000 a Week'

Kim Kardashian is reportedly footing the entire bill for her upcoming wedding to Kanye West, insiders claim.

The reality TV star, 33, and West, 36, will wed in a lavish ceremony in Paris on May 24 and reports claim Kardashian is covering all costs. The "Bound 2" rapper proposed to Kardashian in October and the couple are said to be excited about their big day.

"Kim is spending upwards of $200,000 a week. She is paying for everything herself … flowers, catering, three different wedding cakes," a source told OK! Magazine.

In a recent interview Kardashian revealed that she and West are planning a "small" wedding despite reports claiming otherwise. The couple are expected to fly a select number of close friends and family to France for their big day.

"We're having a super, super small, intimate wedding. As we go along, we're realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking," Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show on Feb. 25.

The report follows claims suggesting Kardashian's spending is spiraling out of control. The E! star, whose net worth is estimated at $50 million, and West are currently in the process of renovating their $11 million Bel Air mansion and in addition to covering wedding costs, Kardashian reportedly often splurges on lavish gifts.

"She literally says, 'I'm out of control with my spending!'" an insider told Life & Style magazine.

"Renovations on that house have gotten so out of control, half a million is a drop in the bucket. It's gotten worse since she started dating Kanye she's trying to keep up with him. She easily spends $30,000 a week on clothing," the source said.

The wedding, which will reportedly be filmed for Kardashian's reality TV show, will mark the reality TV star's third marriage and West's first.
