'Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix' Release Date, News: Screenshots Preview Title Screen Menu Ahead of Launch

Recently, screenshots for the upcoming collection of "Kingdom Hearts" remastered titles were spotted and they revealed what the title screen menu would look like.

The screenshots were released by no less than the Japanese domain for Sony PlayStation. The leaked screenshot of the title screen is meaningful for loyal "Kingdom Hearts" players as they contain box art of earlier titles that were launched way back on PlayStation 2, bringing that nostalgic vibe that's important for any remaster release.

The "Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix" is a collection of six titles from the franchise, including four games and two cinematic releases. The four games included are "KH Final Mix," "KH Re: Chain of Memories," "KH II Final Mix," and "KH: Birth by Sleep Final Mix." Meanwhile, the incorporated cinematic releases are "KH 358/2 Days" and "KH Re:coded."

Along with the title screen, there are also at least six new gameplay screenshots that correspond to the remastered games and movies included in the collection. The images possess 1080p resolution and sport apparent visual improvements to fit the capacity of the latest PlayStation consoles.

According to reports, the remastered titles will run at 4K or up to 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and will support 60 frames per second that matches the playing capacity of the PlayStation 4 Pro.

As per the Japanese website of Sony PlayStation, the remastered "KH Final Mix" will include "the original work of the series which runs around numerous Disney worlds with exhilarating action battle." With the "KH Re: Chain of Memories," players will get to experience "a highly strategic battle with various actions using cards."

The improved version of "KH II Final Mix" is promised to include "the final decisive battle with the nemesis XIII institution." Square Enix promises that the "KH: Birth by Sleep Final Mix" will bring the high definition remaster of the game that was known for having a heavy story by bringing in three protagonists with linked perspectives.

"Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix" will be released in North America on March 28 and in Europe on March 31.
