'Kingdom Hearts 3' News: New Screenshot Incorporates 'Toy Story' Theme
In the recently released screenshots tfrom Square Enix for "Kingdom Hearts 3," it seems the upcoming game will have themes inspired by "Toy Story," as suggested by several gaming news outlets.
According to Game Spot, many Disney fans who very well know the look and feel of "Toy Story" pointed out that the Shooting Ride attraction where Sora, Goofy, and Donald are on is very much similar to the famed Disneyland attraction Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride.
After the screenshot was released, fans immediately speculated that "Toy Story" content and probably settings and attractions may be incorporated in the game. Game Rant says many fans have requested to see Square Enix and Disneyland prove their partnership by giving fans with more pieces from Disney in the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise.
The franchise has mainly featured Disney content but players haven't seen anything from Pixar, which is one of the animation strongholds of the huge company. With the new screenshot, fans may get to see what they have been asking for, especially since everyone who has been a loyalist of the franchise is aware that Square Enix hasn't been using a lot of Disney content.
It has been confirmed earlier that the upcoming game will be featuring "Big Hero 6" as a basis for one of the worlds to be explored, and if "Toy Story" becomes part of the game, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be the first game in the franchise to see a wide variety of items and themes from the Disney world.
The California-based company will also be releasing two other games before "Kingdom Hearts 3" as the installment is still under development. The two games, namely "Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD" and "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage," will be part of the compilation with a very strange title, "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue."
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is still under development and no release date has been confirmed.
