'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, News & Price Details: Top 3 Reasons Why The Next Installment of Square Enix's Action Role-Playing Video Game Will Be Worth The Long Wait
The release of Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3" (KH3) has been anticipated by many hardcore fans for several years now. The action role-playing game is in works, however, it will not be made available soon.
Christian Post reported earlier that Square Enix is currently developing KH3, but the company is prioritizing "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" (KH2.8), which will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 gamers this December. The incoming PS4 release of KH2.8 would mean that Xbox One gamers should stretch their patience.
In the past months, Square Enix has been teasing its followers that KH3 will be worth the long wait. Here are the top three reasons why fans should continue to look forward to KH3:

1. KH3's story will not be limited.
"Kingdom Hearts" (KH) series director Tetsuya Nomura told Famitsu, via KH Insider, that the story of the much-awaited KH3 will be "overwhelmingly big." He explained that this has been the reason why they took care of "Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance" (KH3D) and "Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage" (KH0.2) because these two titles will connect to KH3.
Nomura stated that KH3D and KH0.2 are parts of KH3's story. He disclosed that he separated these parts of the story so that the tempo of KH3 will not be ruined.
2. KH3 will feature more worlds.
Another reason why fans should continue to anticipate about the arrival of KH3 is the possibility that it will feature more worlds. Per VG24/7, KH co-director Tai Yasue hinted in his past interviews that more Disney worlds could be added to KH3 and these could be the Marvel, Pixar and "Star Wars" worlds.
While there is no confirmation yet, this is very possible. Disney characters and elements are integral parts of the KH series. Technically, Marvel, Pixar and "Star Wars" are parts of Disney's extended family.
3. In terms of gameplay, KH3 will be the best installment.
KH3's gameplay will be another major reason why KH fans should continue to look forward to this game. KH3 is set to take a significant leap from its predecessors, taking off its old features and replacing them with efficient ones. These features include wall running, keyblade transformations, attraction flow and more. In addition, KH2 will have amazingly crisp animation-style visuals.
The release date of KH3 remains unconfirmed. However, it is estimated to be made available for PS4 and Xbox One next year or early 2018. Preorders are available at Amazon US at $59.96.
