New Kiss dolls with a "Family Guy" theme will be available this coming fall according to reports, which stated that the two have merged on a merchandise deal.

The New York City rock band Kiss, which developed in the 1970's and is famous for their costume and makeup, will now find themselves in the shape of small, "Family Guy" styled figurines.

The band has appeared on the show three times, with one band member developing a standing position as the former love interest of Lois. Peter Griffin often talks about his love for the band, Lois claims to have dated bassist Gene Simmons before he became famous.

With a budding "Family Guy" image, the band will now merge on a deal that includes producing merchandise together under the same label.

Lead singer Paul Stanley has considered pairing up with "Family Guy" on a "prestige partnership."

"Family Guy's track record and consistent success with its demographic makes this match-up ideal," Stanley told the Hollywood Reporter, calling the plan an "upper-tier, blue-chip opportunity."

"KISS and Family Guy coming together for a line of products is a great mash-up of two iconic brands that speaks directly to fans who will be able to enjoy something a little different and special with what we have in store," Jeffrey Godsick, president of Fox Consumer Products, said.

The merchandise line will include vinyl figurines, bobble heads, apparel, plush, novelty, barware, social expressions and fine art.

The partnership will mark the first time that "Family Guy" has merged with another company to make figurines based on guest appearances on the show. The announcement for the new figurines was made Thursday, although no license has been set.

"Family Guy" is also considering expanding with other companies to develop new products which could include pet gear according to the Hollywood Reporter.
