Kit Harington, Rose Leslie Wedding Date, Guest List: 'Game of Thrones' Cast Invited
Kit Harington invited the entire cast of "Game of Thrones" to his upcoming wedding to Rose Leslie. The actor revealed that he asked the HBO show's producers if production could shut down on this special day.
Harington initially talked with a "Game of Thrones" producer to give him an idea of the filming schedule of the highly popular series for season 8. He thought that they might have to change their wedding date because of work but Harington made a different arrangement.
"I rang [the producer] up and I said, 'I'm getting married and it's your fault actually,'" Harington shared. "I was like, 'You need to factor in a 'Game of Thrones' wedding by the way.' They [the cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down."

Harington and Leslie, however, won't have a "Game of Thrones"-themed wedding. The actor knows very well that Leslie won't be up for it.
Harington and Leslie met and fell in love on the set of "Game of Thrones" in 2012 as Jon Snow, the King in the North, and Ygritte, the wildling. The couple kept their relationship private all those years until 2016 when things got serious between them.
Harington and Leslie decided to move in together early this year. The actor confirmed he's been living with his girlfriend after his former roommate and best friend Dan West moved out to live with his partner as well.
Meanwhile, production for "Game of Thrones" season 8 has begun. Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) shared a photo on her Instagram where she's testing out some wigs and fake teeth with the hair and makeup crew.
But actor Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont) said that production might take longer for "Game of Thrones" season 8 than in the past. The episodes are longer this time and most of the scenes will take place in one setting.
"I think this last season will take much longer to shoot because they can only use one unit because we're all in the same sort of scenes," Glen revealed.
Work on the set will take at least 10 months and some time in these months is Harington and Leslie's wedding date. Given the presumed filming schedule, the return of "Game of Thrones" on HBO for its eighth and final season might be in 2019.
