Kobe Bryant Visits Germany for Annual Knee Checkup

The NBA season is just around the corner and teams are beginning to shift into training mode. As for the Lakers, it would seem that Kobe Bryant is in Germany for his annual knee injury treatment.

He's already been there for almost a week now, with guests at the restaurant Alter Hof in Munich were surprised to see the NBA superstar walked inside the establishment. The news quickly surfaced on the web, with some asking Bryant for a few photos.

Munich has been visited many times by Bryant and it is usually for the same purpose, to meet the famed sports doctor, Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt. Muller-Wohlfahrt is already considered a legend among sporting circles and practices medicine just outside the Alter Hof.

Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt is Bayern Munich's resident club doctor and has treated sports injuries of many other famous athletes, including the Olympian runner Usain Bolt, who was also dubbed "The World's Fastest Man." Bolt is said to have called Dr. Hans as the "best doctor in the world."

Bryant is only in Munich for a short time, simply there for his routine checkup with the doctor and his trip to Germany is not to last long as the training period for the Lakers is rounding the corner.

The Lakers are not looking to be the strongest team in the NBA season but they could easily be in the playoffs, especially with other powerhouse players like Steve Nash and Jeremy Lin. Nash and Bryant will have to stay healthy though if they want to continue carrying the Lakers throughout the season.
