Kourtney Kardashian Fans React to 'Weird' Baby Name, Penelope Scotland Disick

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick welcomed their baby girl into the world on Monday and were sure to share their exciting news.

"Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably," Kardashian said in a statement to the E! network.

Fans of the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality TV stars immediately flocked to social networking site Twitter to weigh in on their daughter's name.

"Mason Dash Disick is an adorable name. Penelope Scotland Disick will have to grow on me. Either way, congratulations Kourtney and Scott!

"Penelope Scotland Disick. It sounds like they played one of those word games to pick out the babies name," Alysse Nicole tweeted.

It is unclear why the couple of five years chose that particular name for their second child, although some fans suspect that the middle name Scotland may be after Disick.

Kardashian and her rumored fiancé are already parents to 2-year-old Mason Dash Disick, whom they welcomed into the world on December 14, 2009.

The pair were rumored to be planning a million-dollar wedding, which was supposed to take place in Mexico after the birth of their second child.

"They signed a $1 million deal with E! to get married on TV," a source told In Touch Magazine.

The couple have not confirmed reports of a marriage.
