Kourtney Kardashian Paternity Test: Michael Girgenti Fails Lie Detector Test, Not Mason's Father (WATCH)

A man claiming to be the father of Kourtney Kardashian's son, Mason, reportedly failed a lie detector test and results were shared on a popular talk show.

Michael Girgenti, who worked with the 32-year-old reality TV star on a 944 magazine photo shoot in 2008, recently appeared on The Trisha Goddard Show to answer questions about his paternity lawsuit against Kardashian, 34. For months the model, 26, has insisted that Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick is not Mason's biological father but in a humiliating twist Girgenti reportedly failed a lie detector test after claiming Mason was conceived during an alleged tryst he had with the reality TV star.

"Michael, we asked you, are you telling the truth about having sexual intercourse with Kourtney. You said yes," Talk show host Trisha said during the dramatic reveal.

Girgenti, who recently filed a paternity lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, is seen confidently nodding as Tim, the polygrapher, begins to read the results.

"The polygraph determined that Michael was not being truthful," the Polygrapher tells the stunned audience.

The Chicago native claimed he was intimate with Kardashian nine months ahead of Mason's birth and previously insisted that the three-year-old resembles him not Disick, 30.

"After he was born and I saw photos of him [and] I began to wonder. I would definitely want to acknowledge Mason if he's my kid," Girgenti told Star magazine. "He deserves to know his real father."

Attorneys for Kardashian, who shares two children with Disick, previously described Girgenti's allegations as "false and defamatory."

"They did not exchange contact information. Since the August 20, 2008, on-set photo shoot, Kourtney never spoke with him, saw him nor met him again," Kardashian's attorney told InTouch magazine.

Girgenti claimed that he went public with his paternity claims simply because he has not been able to reach Kardashian privately. The reality TV star maintains that her long-term boyfriend Scott Disick is Mason's biological father.

"I tried to contact Kourtney via BlackBerry Messenger, with no response," he revealed. "I also made an attempt to reach her through the media, with no luck, but kept thinking that eventually the truth would come out."
