Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick Engaged in 2014? Wedding Rumors Resurface
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are reportedly ready to get married and insiders claim they are planning a wedding in Mexico.
The reality TV couple have been subject to engagement rumors for several years and on Wednesday wedding reports resurfaced. Sources claim the recent passing of Disick's parents made Kardashian, 34, view their relationship differently.
Disick, 30, who shares two children with the E! star, is still coming to terms with the loss of his mother, Bonnie, 63, who died on October 28, and his father, Jeffrey, also 63, who passed months later on Jan. 3.
"Kourtney realized that she's all he has. It's made her see things differently," an alleged friend of Kardashian told Life&Style magazine.
"This is the perfect time for Scott and Kourtney to get married," the source continued adding things are "going really well between them."
In July reports claimed the couple, who has been dating for seven years, had signed a $1 million deal with the E! network to film their wedding nuptials in Mexico. New reports claim they are eyeing their close friend Joe Francis' luxury five-star home in Punta Mita, Mexico as a potential wedding venue.
Kardashian and Disick have not yet publicly confirmed engagement rumors, but one insider claims the reality star has gone as far as hiring celebrity wedding planner Sharon Sacks.
The report follows recent news that Kardashian was the victim of a recent theft. The reality TV star reportedly had $50,000 stolen from her Calabasas family home and police are said to be investigating the matter.
Last month the mother of two acquired the large sum of money following an appearance gig and while she reportedly left it in a safe place inside her family home, it was stolen within days. Police suspect the heist is related to a separate heist involving her sister Khloe who had $250,000 in jewelry stolen from her home, according to TMZ.com.
