Kristen Stewart 'Happiest She's Been in a Long Time' Without Robert Pattinson?

Kristen Stewart is reportedly happy and content months after her split from Robert Pattinson and a report claims a recent trip to Germany is helping her overcome the drama surrounding her love life.

The "Twilight" actress, who is rarely seen smiling, has been photographed recently on various occasions wearing an ear-to-ear grin in Berlin where she is currently filming her new movie "Sils Maria." Pattinson, 27, reportedly ended their four-year relationship in May leaving Stewart heartbroken however sources claim she is doing much better.

"Kristen is the happiest she's been in a long time. She feels a sense of freedom being in Berlin and is having a really fun time on the set and just exploring the city and the countryside," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"She is with a couple of her good friends from back home. They are like her extended family and have been supporting her nonstop," the alleged friend explained. "Her friends always remind her to not take life or herself too seriously. They do a good job of bringing out her silly, goofy side."

In 2012 Stewart, who first met Pattinson on the 2008 set of "Twilight," admittedly cheated on the actor with a married man. Although the British actor was able to forgive the "Camp X Ray" star, the on-and-off couple's relationship was reportedly never the same which triggered their most recent split.

Stewart had reportedly hoped for a reconciliation with Pattinson however the "Maps To The Stars" actor's reluctance to get back together has left her with no choice but to move on. The distance between Germany and the US, where Pattinson is currently located, is said to be helping the actress move forward with her life.

"Of course Kristen still misses Rob, but being far away from him has actually helped her — she's really happy and enjoying herself for the first time in a very long time," the source said.
