Kristen Stewart 'Hoping' to Win Back Robert Pattinson? Actor Open to 'Making it Work'

Kristen Stewart is reportedly determined to win back Robert Pattinson and reports claim the British actor is open to a reconciliation.

In May Stewart, 23, was reportedly left heart broken when Pattinson, 27, allegedly called time on their four-year relationship. The actress, who first began dating Pattinson after meeting on the 2008 set of "Twilight," is said to be giving the actor space with the hope that they will eventually reconcile in due course.

"She's leaving Rob alone," a source told HollywoodLife.com about Stewart. "She's hoping time will heal all wounds on this, and that if she gives it enough time, they can reconnect down the road."

Both Stewart and Pattinson have thrown themselves into work since parting ways, with the actress currently busy filming "Camp X-Ray," and the actor filming "Maps to the Stars" in Canada. A source claims that while Pattinson is entirely focused on his upcoming film, the British actor has not ruled out a future reconciliation with Stewart.

"He's told his friends that during a different time and different circumstances, they could make it work," a source revealed. "At this point, Rob's just going to focus on making great cinema and hanging out with his friends."

The pair's relationship began falling apart in 2012 when Stewart admittedly cheated on Pattinson with her married "Snow White and The Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders. The actress, who is still emotionally struggling with the split, has reportedly urged friends and family not to discuss Pattinson as she is trying to stay focused on work.

"As far as Rob is concerned, she still misses him, but doesn't want to talk about him with her friends. She wants to remain focused on her film," an alleged friend of Stewart said.

"While she's working, she has asked her family and closest friends to not mention his name or ask her how she's feeling. This is her way of healing," the source added.
