Kristin Cavallari Criticized Over 'Sarcastic' Tweet About Nick Lachey's Baby
Kristin Cavallari has received widespread criticism for posting what some fans perceived as being a sarcastic message on Twitter regarding the birth of her rumored ex-boyfriend Nick Lachey's son.
Lachey, 38, and his wife Vanessa, 32, welcomed the birth of their first child, Camden John Lachey, on Wednesday evening and Cavallari, 25, who also named her newborn son Camden two weeks ago, subtly acknowledged the similarity on Twitter.
"Apparently Camden is a popular name!" Cavallari tweeted. Her post led to speculation that she was taking a dig at the Lacheys' chosen baby name.

A number of Cavallari's twitter followers blasted her tweet as being "sarcastic" and rude, which prompted the reality TV star to clear up the alleged misperception.
"By the way that wasn't a bitchy tweet at all. I obviously love the name and I'm glad other people do too," Cavallari later tweeted.
Lachey, who is said to be overjoyed following the birth of his son, was romantically linked to Cavallari after his divorce from singer Jessica Simpson in 2006.
The pair was allegedly spotted on several dates and while various media reports claimed that they were dating, Cavallari insisted that they were only friends.
"There's nothing to talk about, there's nothing going on. He's a nice guy, but I'd have to say we're just friends," Cavallari told People.com at the time.
The aspiring fashion designer has since moved on with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who proposed shortly before Cavallari became pregnant with their first child.
The couple welcomed the birth of Camden Jack Cutler on Aug. 8 and they are now said to be preparing for a future wedding.
Lachey, who described the birth of his son as being life changing, has not yet responded to the controversy surrounding Cavallari's tweet.
