'L.A. Noire' Rumors: Remastered Version Of The Game Reportedly Coming To PS4, Xbox One And Nintendo Switch

Remastered version of 'L.A. Noire' supposedly set to be released this summer

A Rockstar-published game may be getting the remastered treatment, though fans may be surprised to hear that the title reportedly being considered for this is "L.A. Noire."

According to a recent tweet from Direct-Feed Games, the narrative-driven title is "sounding like" it is coming to the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the soon-to-be released Nintendo Switch.

Specifically, the game is reportedly set to be released near the end of the summer.

Direct-Feed Games also noted that it is still unclear if the remastered version of the game will be made available for the PC.

Rumblings about Rockstar potentially being interested in the Switch have been making the rounds online for a while now and so too have those about the developer supposedly looking into the business of remastering fan-favorite games.

It's unclear how many fans wanted to see a remastered version of this particular game, however, but if the latest rumors pan out, then that will be known soon enough.

As for what gamers can actually expect from "L.A. Noire" should it indeed be remastered, it treats players to a different type of action experience, and it is one that has them chasing leads and criminals as they attempt to find solutions to several cases.

Just like any good detective would, players will need to find clues and interrogate witnesses in order to find the answers they are seeking, but there's danger lurking at every corner so they will need to be very careful as they progress further. The game also features an open world, though it is not quite as massive as the ones featured in the newer "GTA" games.

Unsurprisingly, the folks over at Rockstar Games have yet to offer any clues of their own if they are indeed planning to offer a remastered version of "L.A. Noire." However, more details about this possibility should be made available soon enough.
