LA Galaxy vs AC Milan will take place in the International Champions Cup 2013 on Wednesday, with the two teams competing for third place in the soccer tournament. The match is scheduled to kick off at 6.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The defending MLS champions will have their work cut out against the Italian giants in Miami. Even though this is a friendly, the Galaxy will see this as another opportunity to pit themselves against one of the biggest European soccer teams, and LA Galaxy fans will want to see their side come out on top.

The last time these two teams met was way back in 2009, where they ended the match in a 2-2 draw. However, this year there can be no draw, and if things end level after regular time there will be penalties to decide things.

AC Milan will be favorites to win the game, having one of the most successful histories in international soccer. However, LA Galaxy are playing at home in the United States, and they are also mid-way through their MLS season, where as Milan are still preparing for their season to kick off. That means the Milan players may not be up to full fitness, and definitely will not be at full competitive match fitness quite yet.

That could give the Galaxy a chance, and if they can play at the top of their game they would be in with a chance at claiming another major scalp at this competition following their 3-1 win over Juventus.
