La La Anthony Spends More Time With Girlfriends After Split From Ex Carmelo
La La Anthony is spending more time with her closest friends after her split from Carmelo Anthony.
The "Power" actress is coping with her separation from the National Basketball Association (NBA) star by sticking close to her girlfriends. Since her split from her estranged husband, La La has been focusing more on her personal life. Aside from filming for the new season of her Starz drama, the 38-year-old has been busy with the recent launch of her denim line at Lord & Taylor and being a mom to 10-year-old son, Kiyan.
Speaking with PageSix, La La said her tight schedule made her much more selective when it comes to how she spends her free time. "This is about changing the world and supporting someone that is amazing," she said about not missing Rihanna's Diamond Ball. "I think when you consider your friendships real ... You know that everyone is going to support each other ... We just support each other no matter what."

La La and Carmelo have been separated for a while now but they still have not officially filed for divorce. The Knicks forward is reportedly willing to wait until his estranged wife gives him another chance to continue their relationship.
A source told Hollywood Life that La La "doesn't feel like she needs to rush into a decision" about what's next for them. Carmelo is fine with her decision though, as the insider claims he even takes it as a challenge to win her back.
Earlier this month, Carmelo was spotted heading to Lord & Taylor in Midtown where La La was hosting a launch event for her denim line. He was seen entering the party with their son. How long Carmelo stayed at the launch was unclear, but Kiyan and La La were in front of the cameras throughout the event.
