'Last Man on Earth' Season 2 Episode 9: The Christmas Hulk and Time For Giving Gifts

In the upcoming episode of Fox's "Last Man on Earth," Christmas is here and Phil "Tandy" Miller and the gang are up for some holiday cheer — at least Carol is. She's decorated the house and even put in some Hulk joke along the way.

In the clip below, a very enthusiastic Carol can be seen talking to the gang about the Christmas decorations. The house is in full Christmas garb as Carol has taken on the task of decorating for the season.

"What you're looking at is the decoration version of Bruce Banner, but someone just made him very angry and over the next few days, he's about to become The Christmas Hulk!" Carol says in an attempt to make the group feel the holiday spirit.

Her version of winter holiday, though, doesn't seem to impress Melissa and Gail. "I think it's like Santa ate the Rockefeller Christmas tree and then took a big dump on the walls," Gail says.

With the remark not dampening her spirit even just a little, Carol proceeds to the next phase of her Christmas decor reveal. Obviously, she did not do all of these over-the-top holiday decorations by herself. She calls out to her Christmas helper and out pops Tandy from the Christmas tree. He is dressed in garlands and ornaments and proceeds to sing a Christmas tune after removing himself from the tree.

But the rest of the gang will eventually get into the jolly holiday mood, one way or the other, because in the promo trailer (below) they can be seen exchanging gifts. The trailer shows a very excited Carol receiving her gift, a chair. But not just any chair. This chair, Erica reveals, is actually from Oprah's audience and then she goes on to mimic the host. This makes Carol really excited about what could be under her chair.

"Last Man on Earth" stars Will Forte as Tandy, Kristen Schaal as Carol, Cleopatra Coleman as Erica, Mary Steenburgen as Gail, and many more. The show airs every Sunday on Fox at 9:30 p.m. EST.
