'Last Man Standing' Season 5 premieres first episode, spoilers released

ABC's stellar lineup of shows is all set for the Friday premiere. Alongside "Shark Tank" and "The Muppets," the fifth season of "Last Man Standing" is returning to televisions and it's going to be more fun than ever. According to the official synopsis released by ABC, the first episode will be titled "The Wolf Returns" and it will kick off with Mike Baxter, who is played by Tim Allen, returning from an awesome two-month road trip traveling to remote areas for Outdoor Man.

The only man in his home will be reunited with his wife Vanessa (Nancy Travis) and three daughters, Kristina (Amanda Fuller), Mandy (Molly Ephraim), and Eve (Kaitlyn Dever). But he finds out that ever since he left, a lot has happened at home and on the job, which will really bring in some comical drama. Other than that, the weather report is saying a tornado is headed toward the Outdoor Man store and the Baxter home. In the short promo revealed, Mike was seen making a video call with Vanessa while on the rooftop of a building with the tornado chaos happening.

There are also spoilers out for the second episode, courtesy of Broadway World. The site reveals that it's title will be "Free Range Parents" and it will be written by Ed Yeager and directed by Victor Gonzalez. In this episode, Mike asks Ryan if he could allow Boyd to walk home without any supervision. Mike's two younger daughters are hiding something from their mother while Ed and Kyle host a Doomsday Preppers meeting.

The spoilers doesn't stop there as another Broadway World report revealed that the third episode, which will air on Friday, Oct. 9, will be titled "Ping-Pong." In this episode, Vanessa will be educating her youngest daughter Eve about supporting a woman president, referring to Hillary Clinton. In a previous report by Zap2it, it said that the show "Last Man Standing" has not turned away from political episodes. Allen also mentioned that the series will feature the 2016 presidential race which will surely bring them a good time.

In the meantime, Ed also ends mentioning to Mike that he has not seen his own daughter for years already. So, the typical problem-solvers that they are, Mike and Mandy try to determine what they have in common. The episode is written by Kevin Hench and directed by Victor Gonzales while the first one was written by Michael Shipley and directed John Pasquin.

"Last Man Standing" season 5 episode 1 premieres Sept. 25, 8 PM on ABC.
