'Law & Order: SVU' Season 15 Spoilers: Benson's Nemesis Returns for One Last Battle (VIDEO)

"Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" has dealt with mainstream issues and hot-button topics. This week lead character Olivia Benson will once again deal with her nemesis, William Lewis, once and for all.

The storyline in which Benson was kidnapped by Lewis has been incredibly helpful in boosting ratings for the series, which is in its 15th season. Benson was brutally kidnapped, held hostage, and nearly beaten to death before managing to be rescued by colleagues. In the last episode featuring Lewis, he was put on trial for his crimes against Benson, found guilty, and taken to prison. However, in the last few seconds of the show, he managed to have a smile on his face. Viewers knew it wasn't truly the end of the saga.

Now, in the new episode entitled "Beast's Obsession," things finally come to a head between Benson and Lewis. They will meet for the final time in what looks to be a very intense and emotional, not to mention physical, battle.

Lewis kidnaps a young girl in order to get Benson to join him for a last meeting; he wants Benson to admit that she beat him while he was still handcuffed to the bed he previously had her handcuffed to. During the trial, under oath, Benson testified that Lewis had gotten free and was on the verge of escaping when she attacked him. At one point in the episode, Benson is seen with a gun to her head, looking as if she knows this is the end of her life.

"Now he's back at Mariska … chasing her all over the city. This is the final showdown. It's out of our hands," co-star Ice-T says of the episode. "It's about on a level 10, this one," he adds.

"You can't be held captive, have someone like this character come into your life, and be fine and dandy the next day. There will be repercussions for Olivia, there will be repercussions for all of us," co-star Kelli Giddish noted.

The all-new episode airs tomorrow night on NBC.
