Fin Reconnects With His Old Team in 'Law & Order: SVU' Season 18 Episode 12

Fin (Ice-T) will take a trip down memory lane in the upcoming episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

In the episode titled "No Surrender," the synopsis reveals that the senior agent will revisit the years he spent in the Army after a sensitive case is handed to the SVU team. One of his old comrades has been sexually assaulted. After the horrific experience, the Army Ranger (guest star Sarah Booth) is left struggling as she deals with her trauma.

The promo shows Benson (Mariska Hargitay) trying to comfort the soldier. Fin tells her that the victim is a hardcore patriot who spent years trading bullets with the insurgents in Iraq.

Last episode, a young hockey team was put under the spotlight when one of their members was sexually assaulted. The victim later died due to infection. Upon investigation, the SVU found out that the team lost the game and the victim was the one who failed to make the winning shot. Two boys were invited to the precinct for interrogation. They were known troublemakers, but they said they were not the ones who did it. The culprit was the victim's best friend. His father, an extremely violent man, told the kid to do it if he did not want to be beaten.

Meanwhile, the NBC series recently celebrated another milestone. The show marked its 400th episode and Hargitay was the one who directed it. She talked to E! News about the 18 years she has been acting as Lt. Benson.

"I always just say I'll know when I'll know. I think about it very carefully and I put a lot of thought into the future and what it holds and how long I'll stay on the show. Obviously my muscles have had quite an acting workout in the last 18 years, but also I've been so blessed with now moving into producing and obviously with the directing, so I really, really, really enjoyed that," Hargitay told E! News.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" season 18 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
