'League of Legends' Game News: Jhin The Virtuoso Is The Latest Champion
After Jhin Virtuoso was introduced on the "League of Legends" as its latest champion, the video game character continues to get the nod of those playing the game as his unique fighting style has taken a toll on Summoner's Rift, not to mention that he is loaded with gadgets and guns that make those of the other characters' pale in comparison.
iDigital Times noted that some of the other characters of the game, such as Tahm Kench and Bard, took months before appearing. However, in Virtuoso's case, he appeared as soon as he was introduced.
Virtuoso appeared on the game upon Sneaky bringing him out for a showdown with the Immortals.
The Virtuoso has an enviable ammo system, which he needs to reload every after four shots. iDigital Times noted that its last shot is always impressively striking. After making a critical strike, he gains a movement speed and an attack damage buff.
The character's first ability is dubbed as "Dancing Grenade," which any player needs to maximize first, opined iDigital Times. If Jhin Virtuoso throws a grenade at a target, it bounces up as many as four times. In the event that the grenade kills on a bounce, the next damage will be stronger by 35 percent. It goes without saying that the grenade is his ultimate weapon to clear waves. If a player finds himself in a Tristana lane, all he needs to do is to throw a few grenades in order to do away with the waves.
Jhin also has a lot of passives. For instance, if his enemy is hit by one of his attack moves, the enemy is marked for some moments. On the other hand, if an enemy is hit with Jhin's second ability, Deadly Flourish, the enemy is rooted for a couple of seconds.
Jhin's third ability is Captive Audience, which can be seen as flower traps scattered on the map. Any of these traps is rendered invisible to the eyes of the enemy, at least, until one of them steps in it. Once it has been stepped on, a small AOE slowing field shows up and eventually blows up after some seconds.
The Curtain Call highlights Jhin as a showstopper. He positions four long range shots, the last of which does an additional damage. Once Curtain Call is activated, the camera zooms in, rendering Jhin close to being helpless as his other abilities are disabled. According to "League of Legends" official website:
"Curtain Call will start to pin Jhin's enemies down, forcing them to hide behind their tankier allies or run for cover."
"The League of Legends" website also mentioned that Jhin is best played with Darius, Nautilus, and Morgana and struggles against Lucian, Yasuo, and Jarvan IV.
Meanwhile, iDigital Times opined that Jhin's lack of mobility and early game damage makes the character lackluster at this point in time. With a few tweaks and fixes to the other aspects of the character, he will surely be a force the other characters can reckon with.
