LeBron James News: 4-Time MVP Practiced With Team USA, But Not 'Penciling' Another Shot at World Title
LeBron James, often considered as the best basketball player alive, has practiced with a 34-pool of players who will battle for the slots of Team USA for the upcoming 2016 Rio Olympics.
In the try out in Las Vegas last week, James made it clear that his joining the training does not mean he is "penciling" a bid for the Olympics-bound team.
"All my decisions go through my family. We'll see how my family feels about it," he said during an interview at the UNLV, during the mini camp that Team USA held on campus.

The NBA superstar, who has been in five consecutive NBA Finals, has been logging in the minutes faster than any legend before him.
In the report by Cleveland, the two-time NBA champion has already played 43,000 minutes in his NBA career. Considering that James is only 30 years old, it is quite impressive that his playing time has already exceeded that of Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird.
Coming to his 13th NBA season, James seems hesitant to join Team USA and just focus on bringing back the Cavs to the NBA Finals.
During last season's Finals series between Cleveland and Golden State, James did everything he can, averaging more than 40 minutes a game in the entire series. In fact, some basketball critics and experts believed that he could have won Finals MVP after his stellar performance in the series.
While James' absence would be a big factor for Team USA in case he decides not to participate in next year's Olympics, it may not mean much when other players are ready to step up big time.
During last year's FIBA World Cup in Spain, other Team USA standouts such as Kenneth Faried and Anthony Davis were instrumental in the national team's sweep of the entire tournament.
Team USA will be defending its Olympics title against other teams, especially Brazil, Spain, and Argentina, who last won the championship in men's basketball in 2004.
