LeBroning Craze Sweeps the Internet, Fans Mimic NBA Superstar's Embellishing Antics (VIDEO)

Basketball superstar LeBron James is the inspiration for the internet's newest viral sensation based on the players known propensity for flopping or greatly embellishing being fouled.

The new craze taking over the internet is called "LeBroning" and young fans across the globe are taking part in this ever growing craze.

As with past internet crazes such as Tebowing or Planking, LeBroning is quite simple. A friend is recording the Lebroner in a public space who then gently brushes up against a passerby and then wildly flops to the ground in as dramatic fashion as possible.

Video of people LeBroning have been popping up various social media apps.

But while this may be the newest internet fad the NBA has been trying to deal with the issue of flopping for quite some time. Even though the NBA instituted rules last season directly addressing players flopping sports fans have been aware of the process for years.

As for James, he feels that it is all about gaining an advantage and anything to that end is part of the game and necessarily a good thing.

"Guys have been accustomed to doing it for years, and it's not even a bad thing," James told CBS. "You're just trying to get the advantage. Any way you can get the advantage over an opponent to your team win, then so be it."

And last season when Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau blasted referees and accused James of flopping after Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals he was fined $35,000 by the league.

"I don't need to flop," James said at the time when addressing claims he flopped. "I play an aggressive game. I don't flop. I've never been one of those guys."

But it seems that the league is now focusing on players after Houston Rockets guard James Harden was fined $5,000 by the NBA on Monday for flopping, becoming the first player to get such a penalty.
