'Legends of Tomorrow' News, Update: 'The Flash' Cast Member Danielle Panabaker Teased On Caitlin's Appearance on the Spinoff Show

Despite her busy schedule doing scientific gigs for her role in The CW's "The Flash," star Danielle Panabaker, who plays the part of Caitlin Snow in the aforementioned series, recently flew to Atlanta to appear in the Dragon Con 2015 event over the weekend (via Collider).

While there, the 27-year-old actress dished out a handful of details about the Grant Gustin-starred show. She divulged that the Season 2 premiere will "address some stuff from the finale" including the "singularity and everything that's going on."

The talk expectedly segued to discuss the matter of her genius STAR Labs personnel becoming the dreaded Killer Frost. Panabaker admits that "no one is more excited" for her character to become the DC Comics supervillain.

"Unfortunately I don't know when that will happen on the show," she said. As it turns out, the development depends on what the writers would have in mind. Usually, she revealed, a plot is already written but then "scripts evolve" which often see the storyline rejected.

"…sometimes they don't make it into the script as soon as you hope, sometimes we shoot things that don't even make it into the show," she went on to say (via Collider).

The former Disney film star further revealed during the event that the show is currently working on its seventh episode with the details she can't particularly disclose. However, she teased that the script for the segment is "pretty cool."

As a whole, followers of the show will get to see "some familiar faces in Season 2" including that of Professor Stein (Victor Garber), the other half of FIRESTORM, who is also slated to appear in the network's upcoming offshoot show, "Legends of Tomorrow."

This eventually brings to the question if Caitlin Snow would appear in the aforementioned series.

Panabaker simply referenced back to her earlier statement that it all depends on the whim of the writers. However, like everyone else, she was hopeful that her character could crossover into the spinoff show.

"They have huge plans for Legends. Obviously Caitlin's very close and tied to Firestorm; Captain Cold and Heat Wave originated on Flash, so it would be great to go over there," she said (via Collider).

"Legends of Tomorrow" is slated to premiere on 2016 while "The Flash" Season 2 kicks off on Tuesday, October 6 on The CW.
