'Legends of Tomorrow' Rumors: Main Villains Revealed, Connor Hawke to Appear in Series?
American superhero television series "Legends of Tomorrow" is still far from the premiere date but fans who are waiting for it are on the lookout for some updates.
The latest report is regarding the addition of five other DC super villains in the series. According to Realty Today, the villains that are reported to jump into the series include Scandal Savage, Hath-Set, The Flying Dutchman, and Shadow Thief.
The addition of Shadow Thief and Hath-Set isn't really surprising though since it's already known that the two are connected to Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Hawkman (Falk Hentchel). Also, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) is Scandal Savage's father.
Warner Bros has also announced a casting call to play a new character in the show. And although it has not been revealed yet, speculations say that the character they are trying to fill in is Connor Hawke, the son of Oliver Queen and the second Green Arrow in the DC comics.
In a report by Yibada, Oliver Queen has an illegitimate child with Sandra Hawke. The child's name is Connor. Connor Hawke is a master martial artist and archer just like his father. Several think that it's Connor they are looking for because of the description that was provided for the role. The production team is looking for an African-American or biracial male who "decided to put on the uniform of a missing hero who once stood for justice and hope."
But sources say that the Connor in the comic book is one-fourth Korean, one-half Caucasian and one-fourth African-American. He also became the Green Arrow in the comics for a short duration after his father went missing. He eventually became the Red Arrow who is employed by the World Army. Whichever character the show is looking for, fans will have to wait and see who it will be.
"Legends of Tomorrow" is slated to return to CW Network on January 2016.
