'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 1 Episode 12 Spoilers: Heroes Rush To Save Their Past Selves From Utter Danger

The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1 returns this week with a brand new and intensely-filled brand new episode that will see the Time Masters brewing up yet another plan to crush the Legends by sending their deadliest assassin yet to kill their younger selves.

The character in question is the female killer named The Pilgrim. The promo video for the episode titled "Last Refuge" revealed that if the heroes die in the past, then they die in the present as well. What makes the situation even more complicated is the fact that they don't really have any idea at what point in time will The Pilgrim attack or who gets to die first.

However, the synopsis from The Futon Critic for the upcoming segment said that team will have a "protective countermeasure." The plan will see Rip Hunter telling Sara, Leonard Snart, Mick Rory, Professor Stein, and Jax, to kidnap their respective younger versions before the assassin can get to them.

The strategy seems pretty straightforward and doable except that some of the Legends find it a bit very challenging, both physically and emotionally, to face themselves. This will particularly hit hard on Mick who appears to have a ton of bad memories growing up. It remains to be seen if the pyromaniac will do something to avert his fate but the priority now is to get him out of danger.

The person to do the job is Ray who tells the young Mick Rory to "come with me if you want to live."

The hour will also see the Pilgrim going after several others just to finish the job but it does look like it won't be handed it to her in a platter. At the end of the video, she can be seen taking a baby from a hospital nursery. Who could this infant be?
