'Legends Of Tomorrow' Season 2 Starts Filming, Cast, Release Date, Season 1 Finale Recap
In "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1 finale, Savage (Casper Crump) used the advanced technology that was sent by Thanagarians for him to detonate three meteors in different periods. This then will result in a time quake that would position Earth back to the time of the first meteor. This then will be ancient Egypt where he will be the ruler.
This episode focused on Savage's death and the emotional core was centered mainly on the grief and recovery. "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1 was focused firmly on killing Savage and that Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) was out to save his family from the immortal villain.
What To Expect
"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1, has always surprised viewers for its amazing way in combining heroes and villains to the series. It has also been committed to present the rich history of DC comics and showed more characters that are not so famous ones.
In the way, the comic book fans are actually checking out the series for these characters. This series is time-travel based and has introduced past heroes like, Red Tornado, who first appeared in 1940, Sergeant Rock who has been in the comic book history for 60 years and Dr. Mid-Nite who was first introduced in 1941. This kind of history actually helped the show to get high ratings.
"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 is in production and is coming up with a Justice Society theme. It also is adding two characters to the series. It has been reported that the first character will be an African-American woman from the 1940's. She seeks revenge due to a tragedy that happened and cost the life of a member of her team. Thus blaming herself for the death, she wants to avenge the death so she joins the Legends.
Second is a man in his 20s-30s and is a World War II veteran's grandson. He is known to follow a Han Solo persona. However, unlike Han Solo this character has superpowers. He wants to be noticed outside his family's legacy therefore uses his superpowers this way.
"Legends of Tomorrow" has the potential to change characters every now and then, but producer Marc Guggenheim made it clear that there will be no major changing of characters this time.
"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 will premiere the first episode titled "Out of Time" this fall on CW.
