'Legends of Tomorrow' To Launch in 'Arrow' & 'The Flash' Crossover

If there's one superhero TV series that fans are looking forward to watching, it's "Legends of Tomorrow" which is set to premiere next year. But even though it has not aired a single episode yet, waiting fans are already getting glimpses of what's to come to the show.

In fact, according to Comic Book, the new show is going to launch in an "Arrow"-"The Flash" episode crossover. And it's not just any crossover, it's a crossover event which fans can expect to be really exciting and different from the one that took place last year.

Stephen Amell, who plays Green Arrow, teased in one of his interviews that compared to the previous crossover episodes, the upcoming one will not just introduce at least one or two superheroes. Franchise Herald noted that the actor said that they shot a scene that had nine superheroes in it. "There's a lot of things that are really cool about this year's crossover, one of which is the fact that there really is a true 2-part story unlike last year where it was two interconnected episodes where each had their own beginning, middle, and end," Guggenheim explained.

Guggenheim also said that the two-part episode was going to be a big event and would clearly launch "Legends of Tomorrow." He also said that the two-parter would have one single bad guy all throughout the episode. The episode will introduce Vandal Savage, one of the five villains revealed to be go up against the superheroes in "Legends of Tomorrow."

Venture Capital Post detailed that aside from Vandal Savage, the other villains that will bring evil to "Legends of Tomorrow" include Scandal Savage, Hath-Set, The Flying Dutchman and Shadow Thief. The source mentioned that Shadow Thief's part in the show has something to do with Hawkgirl and Hawkman. The cast of "Legends of Tomorrow" also continues to grow as new names are revealed to be part of the show.

"Legends of Tomorrow" is set to premiere in January 2016 on CW. The expected crossover episode's air date is not yet revealed but is rumored to air before the midseason finale episodes.
