The team opened its season with a 4-2 win over Sunderland with Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton finding the back of the net in the dominating win at home.

With momentum after its first win, Leicester City also impressed in its first away game as it faced West Ham United at Boleyn Ground.

Shinji Okazaki opened the scoring for the visitors and Mahrez continued his impressive scoring run as they eventually won 2-1.

This will be the team's first true test against a top-half opponent and a win over Tottenham Hotspur may very well mark Leicester City's arrival in the league.

On the other hand, Tottenham is still looking for its first league win and finds itself on the bottom half of the table.

Despite having big names like Harry Kane, it has been unable to get the points it needs early in the season.

The team lost its first match against Manchester United after an unfortunate own goal by Kyle Walker sent the team crashing.

Next up was a home game against Stoke City and things looked positive early on as Eric Dier and Nacer Chadli scored in the first half of the game.

However, the players were unable to stop Stoke at the end of the game and two goals in the last 12 minutes of the match resulted in a 2-2 draw that shared their spoils in the match.

It should be a close battle between the two teams as the last four matches between Tottenham and Leicester have resulted in two wins for each.

The last time they met at King Power Stadium, Tottenham won 2-1.
