Lenovo L70 Specs, Release Date: Android Midranger Arrives in India for Only $253
Lenovo continues to develop Android smartphones at varying specifications in its attempt to cater to as much of the market as possible.
Just this week, the Chinese manufacturer has released its new Lenovo P70 handset in India.
According to a report by Phone Arena, the Lenovo P70 currently costs $257 and is only available in midnight blue.
As far as specs go, the P70 seems to be in midrange category with its 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution. However, its other specifications are a little higher end.
The Android handset boasts an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, a MediaTek MT6752 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The device has a 13MP primary shooter and a 5MP selfie camera, which should both be enough for cameraphone enthusiasts.
Other specs and features of the device include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities, 3G and 4G LTE connectivity.
Rounding up the specs sheet is dual-SIM support, which is very popular in massive markets such as India, a huge 4,000mAh battery, and Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.
Fortunately, the report said that the device is already lined up to get the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
The Lenovo P70 could be a worthy competitor in the highly competitive Indian market, but it better fare well than other popular brands in the Asian subcontinent such as Samsung, Micromax, Xiaomi, and OnePlus.
