Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro: Specs, Features and Price Review
Lenovo has certainly come up with a winner when it unveiled its newest convertible-hybrid laptop—the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. Thin, elegantly designed, and with a luxurious feel to it, the device is worth its price.
What sets this device apart from its predecessors is its hinge. On the Ideapad Yoga 2 Pro and on the Yoga 2, the hinge has a dual axle design, whereas the Yoga 3's hinge mimics that of a watchband and is made of 800 pieces of steel and aluminum. This hinge allows it to be flipped and folded as a regular laptop with different usage modes, like Stand, Tent, and Display. Moreover, one can lay the laptop flat at 180 degrees. The hinge also takes off a few millimeters off the gadget, which makes it the thinnest Yoga yet.
The laptop measures 0.5 x 12.99 x 8.98 inches and weighs 2.6 pounds. It has an Intel Core processor, which doesn't need a cooling fan, therefore resulting to a thinner chassis.

The 13.3-inch display has a resolution of 3,200 x 1,800 and is made of Gorilla Glass. The laptop comes pre-installed with a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 and apps like Skype, Evernote, and Amazon. When it comes to its battery life, the Yoga 3 can give one more than 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Lenovo also thoughtfully added its own apps such as the Lenovo Phone Connection and Lenovo Photo Master to the Yoga 3. Budding chefs will surely appreciate the app called Yoga Chef, which features recipes in full screen cards, and one only needs to swipe through the steps of cooking. Lenovo's Webcam-enabled gesture also gives one the option to go to the next step without touching the screen.
The Lenovo Yoga 3 is priced at $1,300.
