Lenovo Yoga 700 Update: Windows 10 Convertible Laptop Launched, Comes in Two Size Variants
Chinese tech company Lenovo finally launched its two new convertible laptops as part of its Yoga 700 series. According to NDTV Gadgets, the company launched the hybrid laptop on Friday showing two screen size variants—the 11-inch and 14-inch.
Since the 2-in-1 laptop is designed to accommodate those who are tight in budget but want a great computer, the 11-inch and 14-inch Yoga 700 laptops are affordable with starting prices at $649 and $799 respectively.
As detailed by International Business Times, the Lenovo Yoga 700 can be converted into four modes—laptop, stand, tent and tablet. Both variants run with the latest Windows 10 and Intel's 6th generation Core processors, which is also known as the Skylake. The screens are also touchscreen with a resolution of only 1920x1080p. Both also comes with 10-point multitouch support and Dolby DS1.0 Home Theater for awesome audio experience.
For those who are always on the go and want to travel light, Ubergizmo noted that the 11-inch variant is the perfect option. It is 15.8mm thin and weighs 1.1kg only. Although its specifications are not yet fully revealed, the lighter variant especially sports an 11.6-inch full-HD IPS display size. It comes with OGS coating and is powered by a 64-bit Intel Core m3-6Y30 processor. Its battery life is claimed to last up to 7 hours thanks to its 40Whr Li-polymer battery.
Meanwhile, the 14-inch Yoga 700 boasts a full-HD IPS display with 700:1 contrast ration. Under its hood is Intel's latest 6th Gen Core i7 processor with Intel HD Graphics 520 and 8GB DDR3L RAM. Interested buyers can also choose to have the Nvidia GeForce GT 940M graphics card. It's basically designed to carry out heavy work load.
It is also equipped with 256 GB SSD inbuilt storage, which allows smoother launching of apps and faster file transfers, as well as HD (720p) webcam, card reader and 45Whr Li-Polymer battery.
