Leonard Moves Out In Episode 4 of 'The Big Bang Theory,' Will Amy Find Someone Else?
Episode 4 of "The Big Bang Theory" is going to do something unthinkable – Sheldon will 'unroommate' Leonard and Amy might have a new love interest coming up.
The next episode of Season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory" is titled 'The 2003 Approximation.' The official synopsis of the episode goes like this: "Sheldon learns of an impending change in his living arrangements and decides to revert back to 2003, a simpler time before he met Leonard and Penny. Also, Howard and Raj form a band to play at the Comic Book Store, on The Big Bang Theory."
Sheldon finds that his living space has changed as the newly married but bickering couple, Leonard and Penny, move in. This is very vexing for the finicky Sheldon and unable to handle it, Sheldon gives Leonard the 'unroommate' papers to sign and officially kicks Leonard out.
The title of the episode alludes to Sheldon's 2003 plan. He wants to return to his 2003 avatar and starts his quest for a new roommate. Sheldon wants somebody particular. It is Amy. He calls her on Skype and asks her to be his room-mate as Leonard has moved out. Amy shoots down the proposal and now Sheldon is back to his lonely self.
Mayim Bialik, who portrays Amy, has some interesting stuff to tell about what will happen to Sheldon and Amy. It seems that Amy is going to have a new love interest who could be a handsome-looking intellectual. Bialik admitted that fans are going to hate her for dumping Sheldon. She said, "We actually have some very interesting stuff coming up in that arena. It's OK to keep it a little bit real in that someone like Amy probably would pursue someone."
She also hinted that she would be dating someone who is a good-looking, intelligent man and is not geeky and selfish like Sheldon.
About Sheldon's love life, Bialik teased that maybe Sheldon will date a very pretty scientist, a bit like a scientifically-inclined Penny.
Not all is doom and gloom in the upcoming episode as Howard and Raj play their new hit single at the Comic Book store.
The 4th episode, 'The 2003 Approximation,' of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 airs on October 12.
