'Lethal Weapon' Season 2 Spoilers: Riggs' Childhood Buddies Get Tangled Up in Their Homicide Case

"Lethal Weapon" season 2 is in its midpoint, and that means it's time for a case to span multiple episodes. This time, childhood buddies get involved in the baffling case that has the two main detectives of the show running in circles.

It's always a great time to bring up the past with friends from way back, as Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) unexpectedly meets some of his best pals from childhood. It's all fun and stories until they get involved in the case he and Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans, Sr.) is currently investigating, though.

A reunion gets complicated in the next upcoming episode of "Lethal Weapon" called "Gold Rush," which is set to air next Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. EST on Fox, as teased by TV.com. Things get hairy when Riggs and Murtaugh realize that the former's childhood friends might have something to do with their current homicide case, after all.

The victim, in this case, happens to be one of Leo Getz's (Thomas Lennon) best friends, and judging from the evidence they have, the former happens to have some dirt on a few people by way of recorded conversations about illegal bets, as recapped by Den of Geek.

How do Riggs' buds from way back fit into this homicide-robbery puzzle? Fans can find out next week as "Lethal Weapon" returns on Tuesday for the sixth installment of its second season.

Murtaugh, sharp as ever, spots a joint stashed away in a secret spot in his kitchen. The detective decides to have a stern word with one of his kids who must be the owner, but he decided he will need some proof before busting one of his boys.

He turns to Scorsese (Jonathan Fernandez) for some forensic tests, all just to conclusively pin the contraband on one of his kids.

"Gold Rush," the upcoming episode of "Lethal Weapon" season 2, airs on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
